Small group dance fundamentals and creative movement with Ms Tanner
Ms Tanner will work on the fundamentals of dance, touching on and learning different genres including ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. And of course, have a lot of fun with creative movement every single week!
Ms Tanner is back at Goddard Rockville, now a mom to baby Elliott! She is so excited for one more fun session of dance with Rockville friends before the school year ends!

Ms Tanner is a renowned dancer, known for her lyrical and contemporary dances as well as choreography. She appeared on So You Think You Can Dance and placed in the top 100 finalists! She teaches dance at GMU's School of Dance and Tanner’s teaching and choreography experience has earned her success both as a dancer and as a seasoned teacher. Ms Tanner believes that dance is accessible to everyone, no matter how old or abled.
You do not have to have taken a previous session to be In these small group classes!
Ms Tanner will work on the fundamentals of dance, touching on and learning different genres including ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. And of course, have a lot of fun with creative movement every single week!
Ms Tanner will conduct the 25 minute small group class each Wednesday consecutively for 7 weeks, one week will have two sessions, for a total of 8 classes. Students will be pulled from their classroom during a non-instructional period during the school day for the dance class and will be grouped by age and ability.
Cost for the 8 class session is $200. Classes run from Wednesday April 28th through Wednesday June 10th 2026. Ms. Tanner will send a recap of each class and provide families with photos and videos to see the students progress through the course. At the end of the session there will be a little showcase sent via video that demonstrates what the students have learned!
